Getting Started with Certificates
This guide introduces the Certificates API for TLS/SSL certificate monitoring and management.
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A Red Sift account with Certificates enabled

Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Certificates API helps you maintain visibility over your TLS/SSL certificate infrastructure. Use it to:
- Manage hosts — list, monitor, and retrieve details for hosts across your account, including stats and group membership
- Track certificates — query your certificate inventory, view expiration calendars, CT log entries, issuance and revocation history
- Discover infrastructure — configure host and certificate discovery via nameservers, keywords, identities, and network ranges
- Monitor issues — list and manage security and configuration issues with stats and transfer capabilities
- Generate reports — produce reports for certificates, hosts, domains, DMARC, and host discoveries
- Configure the platform — manage groups, webhooks, event hooks, assessments, DNS zones, integrations, and account settings
